The Weeknd continúa su particular viaje psicotrópico en el vídeo de 'Blinding Lights'

Cuando The Weeknd anunció en sus redes sociales que estaba a punto de comenzar "un nuevo capítulo psicótico de fusión cerebral", iba muy en serio.

Así anunció el lanzamiento de 'Heartless', una canción acompañada de un potente videoclip dirigido por Anton Tammi con una clara inspiración setentera.

En el vídeo, The Weeknd vivía toda una aventura llena de alucinaciones en Las Vegas, pasando por momentos de euforia a ataques de pánico, que le llevaban a correr sin sentido por las calles sobre iluminadas de la Ciudad del Pecado.

Tan sólo unos días antes del lanzamiento de 'Heartless', el cantante lanzó el tema 'Blinding Lights' para un spot de una marca de coches, por lo que no se sabía si esta canción se incluiría en el próximo álbum de Abel Tesfaye o no.

Pero tal ha sido el éxito de 'Blinding Lights' que The Weeknd acaba de lanzar su videoclip oficial, también dirigido por Anton Tammi y que supone la continuación de 'Heartless'.

The Weeknd, en una suerte entre Raoul Duke de Miedo y Asco en Las Vegas y el Joker de Todd Phillips; aparece con la cara ensangrentada todavía perdido por las calles de Las Vegas, sin que sepamos (y seguramente él tampoco lo debe saber) qué ha ocurrido.

Pero lejos de asustarse, se ríe a carcajada limpia con los dientes ensangrentados, conduce a toda velocidad un descapotable y baila entre los rascacielos como si toda esta historia no fuese con él... Hasta el final, que en su ajetreada noche ha debido enfadar mucho a alguien porque terminan dándole una paliza. El futuro de nuestro protagonista podremos descubrirlo, probablemente, en su próximo videoclip.
